At the 2023 Grammys and all future ceremonies, all credited artists (including featured artists), songwriters of new material, producers, recording engineers, mixing engineers, and mastering engineers are eligible to be nominated and win — at least in the Album of the Year category. Previously, all of these had to be credited with at least 33 percent of the playing time. They are now eligible as long as they are credited.

How are Grammy nominations submitted?
For a recording to be considered for Grammys, it must be submitted by Recording Academy members who are either professional or voting members. However, media companies, such as phone numbers in the philippines record labels and distributors, may also register as Academy members and submit recordings for consideration.

Each Academy member has an account on the Grammy website that they can access and submit their work during the presentation periods.

How does the Grammy voting process work?
The Grammy voting process consists of two rounds:
ROUND ONE. Voting members choose the works they think should receive a nomination in their respective categories. Each specific category only has five spots, so even being nominated for a Grammy is a big accomplishment. The nominees have already been selected from dozens of entries in each category.

FINAL ROUND. Once the nominees in each category are established, the final round of voting begins. Voting Members select the nominee in each of the categories they are eligible for that they believe should win the Grammy. The nominee with the most votes wins the award. On the night of the ceremony, awards are televised in the categories with the greatest popular appeal. This includes Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best New Artist , and many of the big awards in the most popular genres like pop and hip-hop. — There are many more awards that are not televised, which tend to be the more specialized categories that many indie artists create.
