Does the metaverse have a future?

This leads us to ask more than a couple of questions, since it means that this term has been around for longer than we thought. In some way, it implies that it was already being worked on more than four years ago and that in all this time it has not been reflected in the real world.
This information has led some users and media outlets to believe that the metaverse is not a novel experience , but that it is being sold as such through marketing investments. If we go back to 2003, we find that project called “Second Life” that was intended for people to have a life in the digital spectrum.
Reactions to the Walmart clip suggest that very few people are excited by this “revolutionary latvia number data ” vision that has become increasingly popular since Facebook changed its name to Meta. Rather than being the future, there comes a point where virtual reality seems to be part of a past that we continue to try to reach.
In any case, if supermarkets do come to the metaverse, another question comes into question: what use would they have? An interesting point would be to implement bonuses and challenges as if it were a game. In addition, it would serve to see the products online before buying them in person.
However, if it is anything like what is seen in the Walmart video, it makes people wonder if it would actually be useful and what it would add. They also wonder if they will ever be heard about what they want or need in an online shopping experience. Because it is clear that there is little point in having a virtual Walmart that provides exactly the same experience as a real one.
