El País maintains its second position with 8.21%

El Corte Inglés (2.53%), Amazon (2.13%) and the Community of Madrid (2.05%) are the brands that occupy the first three positions on the podium of brands that led digital advertising investment in December. The picture is very similar to the one we saw in November , except that the first and third have changed their positions from one month to the next.

The December top 10 is completed by Focus (2.03%), Lefties (1.91%), CaixaBank (1.90%), Madrid City Council (1.64%), Telefónica (1.37%), Zalando (1.32%) and SEAT (1.29%). This is reflected in the latest report by Arce Media-Auditsa, which has analysed a total of 32,323 creative works from 6,572 companies.

As for the websites that have invested the most in digital advertising, the first place slovenia number data goes to YouTube . With 13.34%, it remains at the top of this ranking, although with a slightly lower percentage than in November, when it obtained 16.49%.
However, it is the third position that changes, since last month it was occupied by Marca, while, this time, it is Facebook that takes the position with 5.49%. The other one comes in at number four, with 4.70%.

The rest of the top ten in digital advertising investment in December were: La Vanguardia (4.35%), AS (3.83%), ABC (3.47%), El Mundo (2.63%), Telecinco (2.08%) and El Confidencial (2.05%).

Regarding advertising purchases, 25.49% has been programmatic and 74.51% is direct . If we look at the type of advertising that has been done, 80.57% is for display and 19.43% for video.

Digital advertising investment in December by sector
When dividing by sectors we discover that Distribution and Catering is in first place with 19.29% , with 6,374 creative works from 1,137 brands. In second place is Public and Private Services , with 18.06% for the 5,052 creative works from 1,298 firms. Finance and Insurance is in third place thanks to 9.02%. The most curious thing is that in this section there are 2,007 works, but from 214 firms, a number considerably lower than in the previous cases.
