Technically, eIDAS is referred to as Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014. The latest proposals to amend and update the regulation date back to 3 June 2021 ; we are still awaiting approval of these proposals, which are however already available for consultation in draft form. Naturally, moving in advance on these issues, to adapt one's procedures without too much haste, is not only desirable, but can offer significant competitive advantages.
So, let's start from article 1 , which in the draft of the new regulation is completely replaced . Below we report the full text:
“This Regulation aims to ensure the proper functioning of the internal qatar whatsapp resource market and to provide an adequate level of security of electronic identification means and trust services. To that end, this Regulation:
(a) establishes the conditions under which Member States are to provide and recognise electronic identification means of natural and legal persons, falling under an electronic identification scheme notified by another Member State;
(b) establishes rules for trust services, in particular for electronic transactions;
(c) establishes a legal framework for electronic signatures, electronic seals, electronic time stamps, electronic documents, electronic registered delivery services, certified services for website authentication, digital archiving and digital attestation of attributes, management of devices for the remote creation of electronic signatures and electronic seals, and electronic registers;
(d) establishes the conditions for the issuance of the European Digital Identity Wallet by Member States”
