Add custom code snippets in WordPress
The first thing to do is to install and activate the free WPCode plugin on your website. For more details, check out our step-by-step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin.

Note: The free WPCode plugin has everything you need to add custom code to WordPress. If you need advanced features like scheduling snippets, code reviews, e-commerce conversion tracking, and more, you can upgrade to WPCode Pro.

Once activated, the plugin adds a new menu item called “Code Snippets” to your WordPress admin bar. Click on it and you'll see a list of all custom snippets saved on your website.

Since the plugin has just been installed, the list will be empty.

Click the Add New button to add your first custom code snippet in WordPress.

Click "Add New" in WPCode to create a new custom snippet
This will take you to the Add Snippet page. Here you can select a code snippet from the default library or add your own custom code.

To add custom code, click the "Use snippet" button under the "Add custom code (new snippet)" option.
