Understanding the Customer Journey

Post by Shishirgano9 »

Who are they? How can we talk to them? Interview. Who are the “ infophobes ” . those people who intentionally avoid information? I distinguish between "systematic infophobes". who consult little or no information. and "selective infophobes". who deliberately avoid only a certain type of information. The former are more worrying to us. because they access little or no information. regardless of their will. Not paying attention to it excludes them from public life even though they are already far from the spheres of power.

There is a strong correlation between the use of information and political brazil telegram engagement. How do you explain the increase in the phenomenon of infophobia? The reasons are varied and may be related to the evolution of media. the value placed on information in our societies. or changes in journalism. Factors such as age. socioeconomic status. or disinterest in politics have existed for a long time. However. today. the media offers a much wider range of entertainment. directly competing with news for attention.

Faced with an infinite multitude of perspectives on the world. it is more difficult for people to make sense of the information they have access to. They are therefore less and less inclined to develop news consumption habits. What does it mean to be a “systematic infophobe” in a world where the supply of information is abundant and easily accessible? For many people who routinely avoid news. it doesn’t take much effort. Some have left social media platforms altogether. eliminating a source of news exposure.
