« Jose, how did you come up with the idea of making a video about how much Elementor Pro costs? If this is all about going to the website, watching it and that's it, right? »
Well, yes, but no. I made both the video and the post because, apart from providing informative content on this topic, I also want this post to be an important warning for March 9, 2021.
I also feel the need to give my opinion on the matter, by the way (which is simply an opinion. I may be wrong or not. Only time will tell). And, by the way, some good advice that can save you a few euros if you read this post in time.
With this clarified, let me put you in context…
Elementor Pro License Types and Pricing
Until now, Elementor Pro has had 3 licenses with the following characteristics:
Personal License (valid for 1 website for $49 per year)
Plus License (valid for 3 websites for $99 per year)
Expert License (valid for 1,000 websites for $199 per year).
And I say until now because starting NOW (from March 9, 2021), Elementor is going to make a change in its sales policy for the Elementor Pro license, in which we are going to go from 3 to 5 plans... with a significant price increase, especially as regards multi-site licenses.
Why the new Elementor Pro prices?
These new prices are largely due (and we must “thank them”) to all those “wonderful” people who are dedicated to reselling licenses for this tool through Facebook groups, forums and other similar sites.
Until now, there were many people who bought the Expert license (which cost $199 for 1,000 sites) and resold one of the included licenses to each of those 1,000 sites for $10 or a similar price. A price well below the market price that Elementor developers themselves give to their license for just 1 website.
