The first step is crafting a highly targeted list. Use tools like Apollo.io, Hunter, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator to find prospects that match your ideal customer profile. Focus on decision-makers and ensure your offer is relevant to their role and industry.

Next, write a compelling cold message. Avoid long, generic overseas data pitches. Instead, lead with value. Mention a specific challenge they might be facing, and offer a solution. For example:

"Hi [Name], I saw your team recently expanded into [market]. We helped a similar company scale outreach and boost lead volume by 40% in 3 months. Would you be open to a quick chat?"

Keep it short, conversational, and focused on their pain points—not your product features.

Follow-up is where most success happens. Studies show it can take 6–8 touches to get a response. Set up a sequence with varied messages: email 1 might offer value, email 2 might share a relevant case study, and email 3 might ask for quick feedback.

Timing also matters. Send emails midweek, early in the morning or late afternoon. Avoid Mondays and Fridays when inboxes are crowded or ignored.
