With the development of digital technology opportunities for business, cybercrime is also actively spreading, becoming a new method of fighting competitors. Among all possible cyber threats, DDoS attacks are the most dangerous - they destroy not only the technical part, but also the reputation of your company.
What are DDos attacks?
Each of our projects uses a variety of online resources for automation and effective communication: emails, websites, payment systems. Their implementation significantly simplifies the conduct of any business, but requires high-quality protection from DDoS attacks.
A DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack is a cyber attack whose primary bank data goal is to disrupt or completely stop the operation of a company's website, network, or other online services for the maximum period of time.
During a DDoS, a business's IT infrastructure is attacked from a large number of devices at once, which is why it is called distributed. A DDoS attack works as follows:
the site or IP/HTTP services receive requests (fake traffic) in very large quantities from different sources simultaneously;
an uncontrolled flow of requests exhausts the server or network as a result of overload, gradually slowing down their work;
it is impossible to stop the incoming requests by blocking one source, and an overloaded server does not allow natural traffic;
The business loses its efficiency because potential customers cannot access the website and employees cannot access the necessary systems.
