Step 4: Create your first digital product
Now that your WordPress website is set up, you can start selling your digital products!
To create your first digital product, go to Downloads northeast phone number Add New Product. You can then give your product a name in the "Enter download name" field.
Next, you need to enter a description for the product. WordPress will display this description to your visitors, so you need to make sure it’s descriptive and eye-catching.
Many online stores and websites use product categories and tags. This helps shoppers find the products they are looking for and also encourages them to explore related products.
You can create categories and tags in the Download Categories and Download Tags sections.

Easy Digital Downloads offers this product as a free download by default. If you plan to sell digital downloads, you need to set a price.
To do this, we scroll down to the Download Pricing section.
Here you can enter the amount that visitors will pay to download your product.

The next step is to upload the product.
This can be an ebook, recorded webinar, PDF guide, photo, or any other file supported by WordPress.
