The Board of the Spanish Marketing Association agrees on strategic lines of development for the coming years

The Marketing Association of Spain held its Governing Council meeting this Thursday at the offices of LLYC, one of its corporate business partners. At the meeting, thirty prominent executives and professionals analysed the year's progress. In addition, they discussed new lines of work following the arrival of José Luis Arbeo to the general management of AMKT last July.

The ambition, according to Enrique Arribas, president of AMKT, is “to evolve, to advance in the professionalization of the Association to better fulfill our purpose: to value the profession, demonstrate its contribution to business and society and be a meeting point, inspiration and training for the entire industry.”

Three working committees are created (Strategy, Partners and Contents), whose leaders will join the Executive Committee, which until now has been made up of the president and vice presidents of AMKT: Enrique Arribas, Roberto Bodegas, Alfonso Fernández, Carmen García, María Sánchez del Corral, and its general director, José Luis Arbeo. These committees will review the value offer, the territories and communication platforms of AMKT and the experience provided to the associate. The National Marketing Awards, AMKT's flagship, which has already reached 16 editions and is one of the most valued competitions by professionals, must also evolve.
